The Death of Marie
A 11 years old girl, called Marie drowned in one of the traditional water well while trying to fetch water before going to school. ARDEP-SL Organization was the aftermath of the Marie’s incident, to ensure that this community and similar deprived areas do not continue to lose children by drowning. We in ARDEP believe that this unfortunate episode can be avoided by providing the communities protected water wells. At the moment ARDEP through community contribution have built three protected wells but have intentions to expand the service to many more vulnerable communities in the country side of Sierra Leone. We are therefore soliciting generous contributions from philanthropic organizations and individuals to continue our drive of providing safe drinking water to needy communities. See image below
Traditional water well in most Sierra Leone Rural Communities
Sierra Leone is one of the poorest countries in the world. In the 22nd century, this country is still struggling to provide basic amenities to her citizenry. Principal of the overly clamored for necessity is water for domestic uses such as drinking and cooking. For this project, we would use Kassirie, Samu Chiefdom, Kambia District, to demonstrate how the people are coping with the challenging water issues.

Our Completed Projects
We have completed many projects in the area of water wells, blood pressure Check-up and referral of victim to nearest health facilities and 20 farmers group registration and support in various communities across Kambia District. Below are photographical evidence of some project
